Joint webinar ORCID & DataCite to host Bob Hanisch speaking about the NIST sponsored Research Data Framework (RDaF) the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) has recently released a Preliminary Research Data Framework (RDaF), developed with input from national and international leaders in the broad research data stakeholder community.
The overarching goal of the RDaF is to provide organizations with a structured approach, based on functions across the research data lifecycle, to develop a customizable research data management strategy for the diverse roles in an organization.
Targeted benefits of the RDaF to stakeholders and users are multifaceted, and include maximizing the value of data assets, minimizing risks and costs, enabling discovery and innovation, and increasing the productivity and quality of research. This presentation and the discussion that will follow with be part of the ongoing stakeholder consultation and we welcome all input.
