Nicolaus Copernicus Superior School (SGMK), a new institution of academic excellence, integrates five “Copernican” areas in its research activities, offering doctoral programs through the following colleges: the College of Astronomy and Natural Sciences in Toruń, the College of Medical Sciences in Olsztyn, the College of Legal Sciences in Lublin, the College of Philosophy and Theology in Kraków, and the College of Economics and Management in Warsaw. SGMK is authorized to confer doctoral and habilitated doctor degrees in the disciplines of economics and finance, legal sciences, philosophy, theological sciences, astronomy, and medical sciences.

In SGMK’s first academic year, 54 doctoral students commenced their education. IKEM The Institute for Clinical and Experimental Medicine is the largest Czech medical research and clinical hospital located in Prague–Krč. Queen Mary University of London (QMUL) is one of the UK’s leading research-focused higher education institutions. With around 17,840 students, 4,000 staff and an annual turnover of £300m, we are one of the biggest University of London colleges. They have joined our UK consortium led by Jisc. 

Solent University is a public university based in Southampton, United Kingdom. It has approximately 10,500 students. Its main campus is located on East Park Terrace near the city centre and the maritime hub of Southampton. They have joined our UK consortium led by Jisc.

The Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council of Canada is the major federal agency responsible for funding natural sciences and engineering research in Canada. We work with universities, colleges, businesses and not-for-profits to remove barriers, develop opportunities and attract new expertise to make Canada’s research community thrive. University of Chester‘s original buildings were the first in the country to be purpose-built for the professional training of teachers. The first cohort of 10 male student teachers had been taught in temporary premises in Nicholas Street from February 1840, until increasing student numbers led to a move to further temporary accommodation in Bridge Street later that year. The need for a permanent site led the Dean and Chapter of Chester Cathedral to donate land adjacent to Parkgate Road and the new facilities were opened in 1842 for the 50 student teachers and their school pupils. Exton Park has subsequently been developed to accommodate the needs of students and the University still provides higher education in this location and at other sites in the city and beyond.

Education qualifications remain significant and are now a fraction of the 350 course combinations on offer. In the 20th Century, the institution steadily expanded its student numbers and the variety and nature of its courses, which range from Accounting and Finance to Zoology. 

The University of Chester now has over 1,800 staff and some 14,000 students, drawn from the United Kingdom, Europe and further afield, particularly from the United States, India, China, Nigeria, Turkey, Uganda, Pakistan, Ghana, Bangladesh, Qatar, Indonesia, Vietnam, Japan, Sri Lanka and Malaysia.

West Ukrainian National University was founded in 1966, when the Department of Financial and Economic Faculty of Kyiv Institute of National Economy was opened in Ternopil. Within the years, the department was transformed into the faculty (1967), after that – into Financial and Economic Institute (1971), Institute of National Economy (1989), Academy of National Economy (1994). On March 30, 2005, the educational establishment became a university. On September 29, 2006, the national status was conferred to the university.

Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences

Poltava National Pedagogical University is one of the oldest universities in Ukraine and is practically synonymous with watershed events in the history of Ukrainian national science and education. Its history goes back to the Poltava Teachers Institute, founded in 1914, and the Historical-Philological Department of Kharkiv University in Poltava, established in 1918, which were the forerunners of the higher learning establishment we know today. In 1921, the Institute and Department were united to form the Higher Institute of Community Education, which consisted of the Philology-History and the Math-Science divisions. In 1930, the institution was reorganized into the Institute of Social Education and had two departments, pre-school and school, until, in 1933, it became the Poltava Pedagogical Institute, which consisted of four departments with a four-year course of study. In 1936, it became the Poltava Teachers Institute and had a Language-Literature and a Physics-Math department. Since December 1949 the Institute has borne the name of Russian writer Vladimir Galaktionovich Korolenko. On December 9, 1999, the Ukrainian Cabinet of Ministers re-established the Institute as Poltava State Pedagogical University, and in 2009, the university received national status.

National University of Food Technologies is an educational and research complex, which has created a closed cycle of pre-university, graduate and postgraduate training and retraining of specialists. The complex includes 2 educational and research institutes, 5 faculties, 2 institutes of postgraduate education, 7 branches and 11 colleges located in different cities in Ukraine.

In total, about 25,000 students are trained in our educational complex. More than 150 Doctors of Science and Professors, and about 480 Candidates of Science are involved in the educational process. Among them, there are 21 members of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine and branch academies, 19 laureates of the State Prize of Ukraine, and 16 honoured workers of science, engineering and education.

Students are provided with a scientific and technical library that is located in a separate building and has more than 1 million 210 thousand copies of printed publications and books, canteens and buffets, student sports and recreation camps, a campus that combines six dormitories, a training and sports complex with a modern pool.

The university has all the conditions for the creative and physical development of students. There are many artistic amateur societies, creative teams, sports clubs, and the Center for Cultural and Aesthetic Education.

Bibliotheca Hertziana – Max Planck Institute for Art History is a German research institute located in Rome, Italy. It was founded by a donation of Henriette Hertz in 1912 as a Kaiser Wilhelm Institute. Of the 80 institutes in the Max Planck Society, it is one of the few not located in Germany.

NCS ISSAR The Institute was officially founded in 1956, but in fact, its scientific activities begun as far back as in 1924 when a laboratory-based Chair of Soil Science Scientific Investigations had been organized at Agricultural Institute in Kharkov, Ukraine. From that time on, the soil science in Ukraine has started its development. The founder of the Chair was Academician Oleksy N. Sokolovsky, the world-wide known scientist whose name headlights the Institute title since 1959. Originally, the Institute belonged to the Ministry of Agriculture of Ukrainian Soviet Socialist Republic. Later on, it was structurally merged into Southern Sub-Division of all-Soviet Academy of Agricultural Sciences. Nowadays, the Institute is associated into the system of National Academy of Agrarian Sciences of Ukraine (NAAS). Since 2001, due to high appreciation by the Ukrainian Government, the Institute holds the status of the National Scientific Center. Nowadays, the Institute is a leading science- and methodology center that manages and coordinates relevant R&D activities for problems of soil science, agrochemistry and soils protection for over twenty entities of National Academy of Agrarian Sciences of Ukraine, Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food, Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports. The Institute is a head entity in Ukraine relevant to problems of soil science, agrochemistry and soils protection, enlisting 175 employees, including three Academicians, one NAAS Corresponding Member, ten Doctors and thirty-one Candidates.

Public Health Centre The state institution “Public Health Center of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine” (CHZ) is a health care institution responsible for preserving and strengthening the health of the population, social and hygienic monitoring of diseases, epidemiological surveillance and biological safety, group and population prevention of disease, fight against epidemics and strategic management in the field of public health. Formed to implement the order of the CMU by the Order of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine dated September 18, 2015 No. 604. The main task of CGZ is activity in the field of public health. The centre performs curative-prophylactic, scientific-practical and organizational-methodological functions in the field of health care to ensure the quality of treatment of patients with socially dangerous diseases, in particular HIV/AIDS, tuberculosis, drug addiction, viral hepatitis, etc., disease prevention in the context of system development public health. Poltava State Medical University is a tertiary education institution in Poltava, Ukraine which was founded in 1921. It has six faculties and a preparatory department for international students. PSMU conducts courses varying from two to six years in medicine, paediatrics, oral surgery, maxillofacial surgery, pharmacy and medical nursing. Students range from graduate to master’s levels. Clinical and consulting work is performed at thirty-five clinical chairs in regional and city medical institutions. Research is also conducted. • California State University – Fresno (US) California State at Fresno is a public, comprehensive university. It was founded as a Normal school in 1911, joined the state university system in 1961, and was granted university status in 1972. • UCA – Universidad Centroamericana José Simeón Cañas (El Salvadore), known as UCA, was founded in September 1965, in the context of the optimism of the development decade. • Ulster University (UK) is the largest university in Northern Ireland and the second-largest university on the island of Ireland, after the federal National University of Ireland. Established in 1968 as the New University of Ulster, it merged with Ulster Polytechnic in 1984, incorporating its four Northern Irish campuses under the University of Ulster banner. • VolkswagenStiftung (Germany) The Volkswagen Foundation is an independent foundation incorporated under private law with a registered office in Hanover. Its overall funding volume of around 150 million euros per year makes it Germany‘s largest private research funding foundation, and indeed one of the country’s largest foundations altogether. The Foundation provides funds only to academic institutions. Since 1962, the Volkswagen Foundation has allocated more than 5.5 billion euros in support of over 33,000 projects. • Open Policy Ltd. (UK) Overton is the world’s largest database of policy documents and uses ORCID to help researchers find where their names and outputs have been mentioned in guide. 
• Prostate Cancer UK (UK) has a simple ambition – to stop men dying from prostate cancer. We support men and provide vital health information. We find answers by funding research. And we lead change, raise awareness, and improve care. We also lay the foundations for future research and want to see this work impact the way men are diagnosed and treated for prostate cancer.
• TU Chemnitz of Technology (Germany) is a public university in Chemnitz, Germany. With over 9,000 students, it is the third largest university in Saxony. • Ontario Institute for Cancer Research (Canada) is a collaborative, not-for-profit research institute accelerating the development of new cancer research discoveries for patients around the world while maximizing the economic benefit of this research for the people of Ontario. • University of Basel (Switzerland) Founded in 1460, the University of Basel is the oldest university in Switzerland and has a history of success going back over 550 years. The university also works closely with domestic and international partners to make relevant contributions to the advancement of the sciences and society. • University of Gdansk (Poland) is one of the largest universities in Northern Poland and the only one in the SEA-EU consortium.
• VinUniversity (Vietnam) is the first private, not-for-profit Vietnamese university established based on international standards, in research and teaching, with an intimate and intensive learning environment for students, highly accomplished faculty, and a commitment to global citizenship.
• Wroclaw University (Poland) is ranked among the top economic schools of higher education in Poland and is an important science and research centre. • Érudit (Canada) is the largest disseminator of French-language resources in North America. • Computer Network Information Center, CAS (China) has a long history of providing network, computing and data services to the Chinese research community and science outreach services to the general public. As one of the pioneers in China to construct the earliest backbone networks, CNIC has established itself as an important member of the international academic network.
• FENS‘ (Belgium) mission is to advance research and education in neuroscience within and outside Europe, to facilitate interaction and coordination between its members.
• Freie Universität Berlin (Germany) is a public research university in Berlin, Germany. They are one of eleven elite German research universities in the German Universities Excellence Initiative. They have joined our German Consortium led by Technische Informationsbibliothek (TIB).

• Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory (US) is a USA national laboratory that conducts research on behalf of the Department of Energy Office of Scientific and Technical Information. • Ohio University (US) is a public research university in Athens, Ohio which opened for students in 1809. It is the oldest university in Ohio, the tenth oldest public university in the United States and the 32nd oldest among public and private universities. • Societa’ Psicoanalitica Italiana (SPI) (Italy) was founded in Teramo on June 7, 1925 and recognized in 1936 by the International Psychoanalytic Association (IPA) founded in 1910 by Sigmund Freud.The SPI trains analysts through a training that includes a personal analysis, a four-year theoretical clinical course and the supervision of clinical cases with an analyst of recognized experience. 
• The University of Nottingham Ningbo China (China) (UNNC) was the first Sino-foreign university to open its doors in China. Established in 2004, with the full approval of the Chinese Ministry of Education, they are run by the University of Nottingham in partnership with Zhejiang Wanli Education Group. 
• Warsaw University of Technology (Poland) Warsaw University of Technology was established in 1915 thanks to the efforts of the Association for Scientific Courses and the Citizens’ Committee of the City of Warsaw. It is the oldest technical university in Poland with over 160 active student research groups, organisations and associations.
• Zibeline International Publishing (Malaysia) produces peer-reviewed print and online scientific, technical, and medical journals in addition to other publications. 

• FH Bielefeld (Germany), the Bielefeld University of Applied Sciences, works closely with the industrial and business communities and social and cultural institutes in East Westphalia. They have joined our German Consortium led by Technische Informationsbibliothek (TIB).
• Korea University Medicine (KU Medicine) (Korea) was founded in 1928. From its beginnings as Joseon Women’s Medical Institute, the first medical training institution for women in Korea, Korea University Medicine has treated the medically underserved, practiced philanthropy, and embraced the pain of the times for over 90 years.
• Rowan University (US) was founded in 1923 and has evolved from a teacher preparation college to a regional university with 80 bachelor’s and 60 master’s degree programs, in addition to five doctoral and two professional programs. They have joined our US Community Consortium led by Lyrasis.
• Thomas Jefferson University (US) provides a transdisciplinary, experiential professional education with a focus in architecture, business, design, engineering, fashion and textiles, health, science and social science – infused with the liberal arts. They have joined our US Community Consortium led by Lyrasis.
• Universidad Autónoma Metropolitana (UAM) (Mexico) is a public university founded in 1974. UAM has five university campuses, six academic divisions and offers 82 undergraduate tuition plans and 113 graduate programs. Our motto is: “In CalliIxcahuicopa” – La casa abierta al tiempo. 
• Universität Passau (Germany) is a public research university located in Passau, Lower Bavaria, Germany. It was founded in 1973, but its roots as the Institute for Catholic Studies date back some hundreds of years. • Universität Konstanz (Germany) is a university in the city of Konstanz in Baden-Württemberg, Germany. Its main campus was opened on the Gießberg in 1972 after being founded in 1966. • University of Maryland – Baltimore County (UMBC) (US) is a public research university integrating teaching, research and service to benefit the citizens of Maryland. • AGH University of Science and Technology (Poland) is a modern university that takes active part in building a society based on knowledge while taking advantage of technologies for the purpose of economic growth and development. The university was established in 1913, and opened in 1919.
• Banco de México (Mexico) has as its primary goal to preserve the value of Mexico’s currency in the long term in order to improve Mexicans’ well-being.
• BOUTI Publishing (Morocco) is an academic publisher that will produce journals and books in Science, Technology, and Medicine. Bouti Publishing will be launching their first medical journals in March 2021.
• Eurasia Academic Publishing Group (China) is an independent International publisher that publishes online, peer-reviewed journals covering a wide range of academic disciplines.
