We’ve successfully wrapped up the third quarter of 2025! We have enjoyed connecting with our global community for deeper engagement and learning. This season of events was aimed at strengthening connections and driving ORCID adoption worldwide — from technical integrations to an in-person consortia lead workshop.
If you weren’t able to attend these valuable sessions, you can still access the materials and catch up on everything you missed. Be sure to check our events calendar to stay informed about the remaining events this year. Please also visit the ORCID On-Demand page for more past events.
DSpace + ORCID Integration: Updates + Next Steps
In this session, we share information about the ORCID integration functionality in DSpace, especially the latest enhancements coordinated by Lyrasis and developed by 4Science, thanks to funding from the ORCID Global Engagement Program.

Enabling Value featuring Pure
Enabling Value is a webinar series showcasing how ORCID-enabled scholarly service providers enable fast and simple registry interoperability for ORCID member organizations and other scholarly institutions.
In this session, we delved into Pure, a powerful Research Information Management System (RIMS). Pure is designed to consolidate diverse research data onto a single platform, giving institutions a comprehensive overview of their research landscape.

Research Integrity: Research Integrity featuring Clear Skies
In this session, we were joined by Clear Skies, a groundbreaking, multi-award-winning startup at the forefront of research integrity. In 2022, they launched the Papermill Alarm — the world’s first papermill detection service — which earned the 2024 ALPSP Award for Innovation. Building on that success, Clear Skies now brings you Oversight, the world’s first journal integrity index, powered by advanced network analysis, AI, and big data to deliver greater transparency and accountability in scholarly publishing.
Though we face significant challenges to uphold research integrity, we remain optimistic that by working together, our community can make meaningful and lasting progress towards a world where all who participate in research, scholarship, and innovation are uniquely — and reliably — identified and connected to their contributions across disciplines, borders, and time.

Ask Me Anything: University Presses
To close out the quarter, we highlighted the essential role that university presses play in the scholarly ecosystem. Our panelists discussed how their organizations have benefited from ORCID membership, highlighting the member features and benefits they utilize most, while explaining the systems they use and their integration with ORCID. This was an excellent opportunity to understand the practical applications and strategic advantages of ORCID within the university press landscape.
