At the end of each quarter we’ll revisit past events and provide our community with a chance to catch up on anything they might have missed, including links to the replays. The first quarter of this year produced two events, one in-person and one online. Stay tuned to our events calendar as more events are listed throughout the year.
Consortia Lead Workshop
In February we hosted our biannual consortia lead workshop in Munich, Germany. We brought together 18 consortia leads, eight board members, and ORCID staff for two days to connect with one another, discuss the successes and challenges within consortia, and collaborate on solutions.
We thank Ludwig Maximilian Universität München for hosting us and look forward to meeting in person again in September 2025, with appreciation to the South African consortium, TENET, for hosting! Read the blog for more details and photos from this exciting in-person workshop.
Research Integrity featuring Signals
In March we hosted Signals for our latest webinar in the Research Integrity series, which is designed to highlight thought leaders and experts in research, cyber security, and more to share their insights about trends and emerging solutions.
Signals is a research evaluation platform that combines insights from the scholarly record metadata with expert knowledge from sleuths, researchers, and editors. In this session, Signals co-founders Tiago Barros and Elliott Lumb discussed how they restore trust in research by delivering transparent, actionable evaluations of publications and manuscripts to help the scholarly community make informed decisions on the value and credibility of research.
If you missed it, you can catch the recording and session materials here.
