We are happy to announce that the ORCID US roadshow continues with events in Atlanta and Austin this September!
We invite you to join us on September 8 at the Knowles Conference Center at Georgia State University, conveniently located in downtown Atlanta, and on September 22 at the Perry Castañeda Library at the University of Texas at Austin. We’d like to thank ORCID members UT Austin and Georgia State University for hosting these two events.
Titled “ORCID for Researchers and Organizations: Why, What, How?,” these events will include an overview of why ORCID is needed and how we work, for organizations and individuals in the research community. Sessions will illustrate how universities can build great ORCID integrations – with a particular focus on how and why to connect your researchers’ affiliations to their ORCID records. As well as reviewing ORCID API basics and our Collect & Connect program, there will also be an interactive discussion on getting started with ORCID. And of course there will be plenty of time for Q&A and networking!
Attendance is free but space is limited; we encourage you to register today!
