We are pleased to announce a forthcoming webinar on Libraries, Researchers and ORCID. In this webinar, we will explore the ways that libraries can support researchers in creating and using their ORCID iDs.
The webinar will be held on October 30th, at 0900 (New York), 1300 (London, Lisbon), 1400 (Paris, Warsaw), 1900 (Beijing), 2000 (Tokyo).
*Please note the corrected start time for US participants*
Speakers include:
Gail Clement (Texas A&M)
Ellen Cole (Northumbria University)
Merle Rosenzweig (University of Michigan)
Together, we will explore the ways that libraries can reach out to specific groups of researchers (from graduate students to senior faculty), how to package information into guides that give answers to researchers’ most common questions, and how to win support for your ORCID initiative across the campus community. You will have a chance to hear about the excellent work being done by our speakers in engaging, informing and guiding their communities, and to benefit from the lessons they have learned, their successes, and the challenges they encountered. Join us to share the insight of our speakers, and to add your own insights to the discussion afterwards.
