The infosite will experience a temporary service interruption sometime between 12th April and 13th April due to server upgrades. This does NOT affect the registry; you will still be able to access your ORCID record!

ORCID hosts webinars, events, and meetings to provide updates on ORCID and to explore topics of interest to the community.

We also have an on-demand events page you can visit, featuring past events, webinars and resources you can download.

Persistent identifiers (PIDs) – for individuals, research outputs and organizations  – are the building blocks of research information infrastructure. They enable transparent and trustworthy connections and their wider adoption can lead to improved access to information and increased trust in scholarship and research.

Join this #ETD2021 pre-conference session to learn how universities and funders are adopting identifiers like DOI, Handle, ORCID (among others) to improve accessibility and discoverability for theses and dissertations. We’ll be presenting use cases from institutions across the globe and there will be plenty of time for discussion!
