For six years, ORCID’s Trust Program has guided us on how to balance the sometimes-competing priorities of researcher control and data quality, while adhering to our values of openness, trust, and inclusivity.
Join us on June 15 to learn more about this balance, along with the concept of “trust markers” and how users can determine the trustworthiness of an ORCID record. We’ll be joined by Tom Pollard and Brian Gow, research scientists at MIT, to discuss how PhysioNet implements “trust markers “ into their application workflow for access to sensitive medical research data. We will also discuss the value of a well-populated ORCID record to the entire research ecosystem, and offer five easy tips for both researchers (to ensure they can get the most out of their records) and ORCID members (to help make ORCID more useful for their researchers and for their organization).
Time will be reserved for questions at the end of the presentation. Even if you are unable to attend, we encourage you to register to receive the recording, presentation, and handouts after the webinar concludes.
To celebrate 10 years of ORCID, ten lucky registrants will win an ORCID 10th Anniversary swag bundle! To enter the giveaway, opt-in at registration.*
This webinar builds upon the series of blog posts we shared last year celebrating 5 years of the ORCID Trust Program.
