In this session of Ask Me Anything, we are joined by Simon Porter, ORCID Board Member and VP of Research Futures at Digital Science, who will discuss ORCID’s partnership with Digital Science that unlocks the value of ORCID’s Public Data File to bring greater insights to the scholarly community.
Since 2012, ORCID has published our Public Data File annually, creating a dataset that has become a vital part of the scholarly communication infrastructure. While rich in value for scientometric analysis, its size and format have posed accessibility challenges for many users.
To address this, ORCID has partnered with Digital Science to host the Public Data File on Google BigQuery, lowering barriers to entry and enabling researchers, policymakers, and developers to leverage ORCID’s open data more effectively.
Come join us to learn more about what’s possible to discover, and how to get started exploring the ORCID Public Data File on Google BigQuery.
